Hi, I’m Richard England, Vicar of Crofton Parish. I am married to Kathryn; we have two daughters, Emily and Joannah, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Tilly.
I was ordained in 2008 in Derbyshire, where I was a curate in Glossop, an ex-mill town outside Manchester. We loved living on the edge of the Peak District and had two wonderful winters during our time there, sledging down the local farmer’s field. From Glossop, we moved to Gillingham in Kent in 2013, where I was Associate Vicar at St Mark’s church in the town centre. It was a privilege to serve a church trying to serve its community in a challenging area. In 2020 I also became Team Rector of Gosport North Parish.
We love being in Stubbington. It is a great place to live! Crofton Parish is a wonderful place to belong to as well. If you’re interested in finding out more about Christianity, come along and let’s get to know each other.
