Church of England legislation tasks the Parochial Church Council (PCC) with “promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church”. A PCC consists of clergy and churchwardens of a parish and lay members who serve on General, Diocesan or Deanery synod, together with representatives of the laity. Lay members and Deanery Synod members are elected at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting; Diocesan Synod members are elected by Deanery Synod. There are twenty-five people on PCC.
Please do pray for our PCC that they will have the will of Christ in all the decisions they take, and do approach them if you have comments or suggestions regarding the work of the parish.
