Beryl has lived in Stubbington all her life. Her earliest memory of Holy Rood is from when she was a young girl in Sunday School, and she has continued to worship here throughout her life. Beryl also worked in the parish in the hairdressing salon she owned.
Beryl was called into the ministry and ordained a deacon In 1987. A few years later she became priest, one of the first in the Church of England.
Now retired, Beryl continues to help in the parish while also enjoying her garden and her many grand-, and great-grand-, children.
